  • Dry roast the cumin seeds and fennel seeds on medium heat and keep aside for cool then grind together to a powder.
  • Take 4 cups of water in a pan and add dates, jaggery, tamarind pulp, cumin & fennel powder, crushed red chili, dried ginger powder, black salt, salt to taste now cook it on medium heat till it boils
  • Lower the heat & stir continuously till it gets lightly thicken and cook for 5-8 minutes.
  • Chutney is ready to cool & serve it.
