  • Clean & wash properly spinach leaves in running water. Remove thick stalk & roughly chop the spinach.
  • Heat butter in a deep pan add onion & saute till transparent then add spinach to it & saute for 5-6 minutes.
  • Add 3 cups of water & sugar to it wait until boil.
  • Remove from heat & keep aside for cooling then transfer this mixture in a mixer jar & grind it in a smooth puree.
  • Add cornflour in milk & stir it well no lumps are found.
  • Heat this puree again & add milk & cornflour mixture & salt to it & boil till it gets thick.
  • Adjust its consistency with water & milk.
  • Serve hot with a seasoning of pepper or toast along with it.
