  • Clean & wash masoor. Add masoor & 5 cups of water to the pressure cooker.
  • Pressure cook for 10-12 minutes on low flame. After 2 whistle off the flame & keep it aside.
  • Heat ghee in a karahi. Add cumin seeds wait till crackled then add the onion and fry for 3-4 minutes till its changes to brown.
  • Now add tomatoes saute for 5 minutes then add cooked masoor dal and salt. .
  • Keep on low flame cook for 5 minutes.
  • Serve hot, sprinkled with chopped coriander.
