  • Soak sabut urad & rajma overnight. Now drain the water & pressure cook sabut urad & rajma in 3 cups of water with salt for 8-9 whistle or till it get done.
  • Heat oil & butter in a kadai & add cumin seeds when it starts to crackle add onion & saute till it color changes to golden brown.
  • Add chopped tomatoes, ginger garlic paste & red chilli powder, cooked till tomatoes is mashed well. Now add cooked dal to it & add 2-3 cups of water to maintain it seasoning.
  • Cook it in low flame for 10 to 15 minutes & add garam masala powder, reserve 2 table spoon of cream & rest add to the dal cook it for 5 minutes.
  • Remove from heat, garnish with coriander leaves & reserved cream. Serve it with naan, steamed rice & parantha.
