Makke Ki Poori

Ingredients:

  • Makke Flour
    2 Cup
  • Wheat Flour
    1/2 Cup
  • Fennel Seeds (Sauf)
    1/4 Tea Spoon
  • Coriander Powder
    1/2 Tea Spoon
  • Red Chilli Powder
    1/4 Tea Spoon
  • Dry Mango Powder
    1/4 Tea Spoon
  • Fresh Coriander Leaves Chopped
    1 Table Spoon
  • Oil
    For Frying + 2 Table Spoon
  • Salt
    To Taste

Method:

  • Take a bowl add wheat flour & makke flour with 2 table spoon of oil.
  • Now add fennel seeds, coriander powder, red chilli powder, dry mango powder, fresh coriander leaves & salt.
  • Mix it evenly.
  • Using your hand to make dough, add sufficient amount of warm water.
  • For pooris dough should be tight.
  • Now cover the dough with cloth & keep aside for 10-15 minutes.
  • Divide the dough into equal portion & roll the poori with the help of rolling pin.
  • If it is difficult to roll you can grease your palm with oil or ghee & roll it with your both the hand & shape like pooris .
  • Heat sufficient oil in a deep pan on high heat.
  • Drop the poori one by one in the pan & fry till golden from both the side.

  • Take out on absorbent paper & serve it with aloo sabzi 0r chutney.
