Chatpata Karela

Ingredients:

  • Karele (Bitter Gourd)
    4
  • Raw Mango Grated
    2 Table Spoon
  • Besan (Gram Flour)
    2 Table Spoon
  • Roasted Peanuts Powder
    1 Table Spoon
  • Red Chilli Powder
    1/2 Tea Spoon
  • Turmeric Powder
    1/2 Tea Spoon
  • Coriander Powder
    1 Tea Spoon
  • Garam Masala
    1/2 Tea Spoon
  • Chaat Masala
    1/2 Tea Spoon
  • Lemon Juice
    2 Table Spoon

Method:

  • Wash the karela, slice it into roundel shape & put it into bowl.
  • Add salt to the karela mix it properly & keepaside 30 minutes.
  • Heat oil in a kadai & wash the salted karela thoroughly with water.
  • Squeeze out all the water & transfer the karela into another bowl.
  • Add red chilli, coriander powder, garam masala, chaat masala, salt mix it properly.
  • Now add gram flour & roasted peanuts powder mix it well.
  • Deep fry the karela slices into hot oil till crispy.
  • Add grated raw mango & lemon juice.
  • Remove from heat & transfer it into serving dish.
