Ingredients:

  • Strawberries Chopped Into Small Pieces
    1/2 Cup
  • Yogurt
    2 Cups
  • Roasted Cumin Powder
    1 Tea Spoon
  • Red Chilli Powder
    1/2 Tea Spoon
  • Black rock salt
    1/4 Tea Spoon
  • Sugar
    1 Tea Spoon
  • Salt
    To Taste

Method:

  • Take bowl add yogurt whisk it evenly.
  • Add roasted cumin powder, red chilli powder, black rock salt, sugar & salt mix it well.
  • Now add chopped strawberries mix it.
  • Keep it in refrigerator before serving.
  • Serve it chilled.

  • Cucumber Peeled
    3 Medium Cut into 1/2 inch pieces
  • Potatoes Boiled & Peeled
    4 Small Cut into 1/2 inch pieces
  • Lemon Juice
    1 Table Spoon
  • Fresh Coriander Leaves
    1 Table Spoon
  • Green Chillies
    2 Finely Chopped
  • Rock Salt (Sendha Namak)
    To Taste

Method:

  • Take a bowl add cucumber & potatoes.
  • Now add lemon juice, green chillies, Fresh coriander leaves & salt.
  • Salad is ready to serve.

Baby Potatoes in Curd & Tamarind Sauce

Ingredients:

  • Baby potatoes Boiled & Peeled
    10 -15 Pieces
  • Curd
    3 Table Spoon
  • Tamarind Pulp
    3-4 Table Spoon
  • Fresh coriander leaves Chopped
    2 Table Spoon
  • Ginger Finely Chopped
    1 Table Spoon
  • Cumin Powder
    1 Tea Spoon
  • Oil
    1 Table Spoon
  • Black Pepper Corn Crushed
    1/4 Tea Spoon
  • Sugar
    1 Table Spoon
  • Salt
    To Taste

Method:

  • Heat oil in a pan add potatoes to it.
  • Saute the potatoes till golden, remove from heat & keep aside.
  • To make tamarind sauce, add tamarind pulp to pan & add half cup of boiling water, sugar, chopped ginger & cumin powder mix it well.
  • Cook it till thick at low heat.
  • Remove from heat, keep aside for cooling after cooling mix curd in it to make potatoes dressing.
  • Take a bowl, transfer the baby potatoes in it.
  • Add this tamarind dressing to the bowl mix it evenly so that all the potatoes gets equally well coated.
  • Garnish with fresh coriander leaves & serve it.

Aloo & Chickpea Salad

  • Fresh Mint Leaves
    A Bunch
  • Yogurt
    2 Cups
  • Potatoes Boiled & Peeled
    4 Chopped into small Pieces
  • Chickpea (Kabuli Chana) Boiled
    1 Cup
  • Green Chillies
    2 Pieces Finely Chopped
  • Roasted Cumin Powder
    1/2 Tea Spoon
  • Salt
    To Taste

Method:

  • Remove mint leaves from the stem.
  • Grind into a smooth paste.
  • Take a bowl add curd to it now add mint paste to it.
  • Transfer the boiled & chopped potatoes, boiled chickpea, green chilies, roasted cumin powder & salt to the curd bowl.
  • Mix it well.
  • Keep it in refrigerator for cooling.
  • Serve it chilled.

Chukandar Raita

  • Chukandar (Beetroot)
    1 Small
  • Yogurt Whisked
    1.5 Cup
  • Cumin Powder
    1 Tea Spoon
  • Red Chilli Powder
    1/2 Tea Spoon
  • Kala Namak
    1/2 Tea Spoon
  • Fresh Coriander Leaves Chopped
    1 Table Spoon
  • Salt
    To Taste

Method:

  • Take a chukandar wash & peel it well.
  • Grate it then keep it in refrigerator.
  • Take a large bowl pour yogurt in it.
  • Add cumin powder,red chilli powder, kala namak, fresh coriander leaves & salt to it.
  • Add grated chukandar to the yogurt mixture, mix it well
  • Raita is ready, serve it chilled.
