Ingredients:

  • Pressed Rice (Poha)
    2 Cups
  • Potatoes Peeled & Chopped
    2 Medium
  • Onion finely Chopped
    1 Large
  • Sprouted Moong
    3 Table Spoon
  • Green Peas
    1/2 Cup
  • Oil
    2 Table Spoon
  • Cumin Seeds
    1 Tea Spoon
  • Mustard Seeds
    1 Tea Spoon
  • Fennel Seeds
    1 Tea Spoon
  • Curry Leaves
    6-7 Leaves
  • Green Chillies Chopped
    2 Pcs.
  • Fresh Coriander Leaves Chopped
    2 Table Spoon
  • Lemon Juice
    1 Table Spoon
  • Pomegranate Seeds
    2 Table Spoon (Optional)
  • Turmeric Powder
    1/2 Tea Spoon
  • Sugar
    1/2 Tea Spoon
  • Salt
    To Taste

Method:

  • Wash the poha in a sieve. Poha should be moist
  • Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, mustard seeds & fennel seeds.
  • When these seeds started crackle then add curry leaves & saute for 1 minutes.
  • Add onions & potatoes to it and fry it well then add green chillies, green peas saute for 2-3 minutes.
  • Add salt, sugar & turmeric powder mix it well.
  • Now add sprouted moong & poha mix properly.
  • Add lemon juice & coriander leaves to the poha mix gently.
  • Serve it hot garnish with pomegranate seeds.

  • Poha (Pressed rice) soaked
    2 Cups
  • Potatoes boiled & mashed
    2 Medium
  • Green chilli paste
    1 Tea Spoon
  • Ginger paste
    1/2 Tea Spoon
  • Turmeric powder
    1/4 Tea Spoon
  • Yogurt
    1/2 Cup
  • Oil
    1 Table Spoon
  • Fresh coriander leaves
    1 Table Spoon Finely Chopped
  • Lemon juice
    1 Table Spoon
  • Salt
    To Taste

Method:

  • Take poha in a large bowl.
  • Add mashed potatoes, green chilli paste, ginger paste, yogurt, coriander leaves, turmeric powder & salt.
  • Mix it properly
  • Add lemon juice to the mixture
  • Heat a non stick pan.
  • Spread little oil on it.
  • Take a mixture into equal quantity & give a shape of cutlet.
  • Place each cutlet in the pan.
  • Cook till both sides are golden.
  • Serve hot with cutney or sauce.

Ingredients:

  • Vermicelli
    500 Grms
  • Mustard Seeds
    1/2 Tea Spoon
  • Curry Leaves
    6-8 Leaves
  • Split Black Gram Skinless(Dhuli Urad Dal)
    2 Tea Spoon
  • Ginger
    1 inch Finely Chopped
  • Green Chilli
    2-3 Pieces
  • Onion
    1 Medium Finely Chopped
  • Fresh Coconut Grated
    1 Table Spoon
  • Fresh Coriander Leaves
    1 Table Spoon
  • Oil
    2 Table Spoon
  • Salt
    To Taste

Method:

  • Take 5 cups of water in a deep pan to boil.
  • Add vermicelli (sevayii) salt & 1 table spoon of oil.
  • Cook for 1 or 2 minutes.
  • Drain refresh under cold water & drain again.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Add mustard seeds, wait for crackle.
  • It begin to crackled add curry leaves, urad dal, ginger, onion.
  • Saute for 3 minutes.
  • Add green chilli stir it.
  • Add boiled vermicelli & salt stir it well.
  • Cook for 5 minutes.
  • Mix grated coconut & green coriander leaves.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Serve hot it in breakfast.
  • Note: You can prepare this dish by adding different types of vegetables like carrot, french beans, capsicum, Potato etc.
