Ingredients:

  • Sour Yogurt
    2 cups
  • Gram Flour (Besan)
    2 table spoon
  • Oil
    1 table spoon & For Fry Boondi
  • Mustard Seeds
    1/2 tea spoon
  • Cumin Seeds
    1/2 tea spoon
  • Curry Leaves
    9-10 leaves
  • Dry Red Chillies
    2 broken
  • Asafoetida
    A Pinch
  • Fenugreek Seeds
    1/2 Tea Spoon
  • Garlic Crushed
    8-9 Cloves
  • Fresh Coriander Leaves
    1 Table Spoon
  • Coriander Powder
    1 Tea Spoon
  • Turmeric Powder
    1/4 Tea Spoon
  • Salt
    To Taste

Method:

  • For Boondi
  • Heat sufficient oil in kadhai.
  • Meantime take a bowl add besan (Gram Flour) prepare a thick batter by using water whisk it properly.
  • Whisk until the bubbles starts to break inside the bowl.
  • Take a pierced spoon to prepare boondi.
  • Pour 1 full table spoon of besan batter on the pierced spoon place it over the kadhai.
  • Drop the batter in the kadhai making small boondi.
  • Take another spoon & fry the boondi till they turn to golden.
  • The boondi is cook properly then take it out in plate.
  • Using remaining batter prepare more boondi by the same method.
  • For making kadhi:
  • Take a large bowl add sour yogurt whisk it well now add besan to it mix it well, make sure that the lumps are not found.
  • Add 1/2 liter of water to the yogurt bowl.
  • Using same kadhai leave 1 table spoon of oil & take rest of the oil out.
  • Make sure heat should in medium, add cumin seeds,mustard seeds, curry leaves, dry red chillies, asafoetida (heeng) & fenugreek seeds.
  • Wait until it crackled well.
  • Now add crushed garlic wait until it turns to golden.Now put coriander powder & turmeric powder fry for half minutes.
  • Now add yogurt & besan batter into the kadhai stir it continuously till it starts to boil.
  • When the kadhi starts to boil lower the heat now add salt to the kadhi.
  • Cook it for 10-12 minutes at low flame.
  • Remember stir the kadhi after every 2-3 minutes.
  • Now add boondi into the kadhi & cook it for 2 minutes in low heat.
  • Remove from heat & garnish with coriander leaves.
  • Serve it with rice or chapati.

Ingredients:

  • For Pakoras:
  • Gram Flour (Besan)
    1 Cup
  • Onion Finely Chopped
    2 Medium
  • Green Chillies Chopped
    2 Pieces
  • Oil
    For Frying
  • Salt
    To Taste
  • For Kadhi:
  • Yogurt
    2 Cups
  • Gram Flour
    2 Table Spoon
  • Fenugreek Seeds (Methi Dana)
    1/2 Tea Spoon
  • Cumin Seeds(Jeera)
    1/2 Tea Spoon
  • Turmeric Powder
    1 Tea Spoon
  • Dried Red Chillies
    2 Pieces
  • Garlic Chopped
    3-4 Cloves
  • Oil
    2 Table Spoon
  • Fresh Coriander Leaves Chopped
    1 Table Spoon
  • Salt
    To Taste

Method:

  • Take a large bowl add gram flour to it.
  • Add onion, green chillies salt.
  • Now add about 1/4th cup of water & mix it gently.
  • Whisk it throughly to make smooth & lump free batter.
  • Heat oil in a kadhai.
  • When the oil get hot drop small portion of the batter.
  • Deep fry the pakoras till golden brown.
  • Drained the pakoras on absorbent paper & keep aside.
  • Now for kadhi whisk the yogurt properly.
  • Add the gram flour mix it gently & make a lump free mixture.
  • Add the turmeric powder, salt & 3 cups of water mix it.
  • Heat the oil in a kadhai.
  • Add fenugreek seeds, cumin seeds, dried red chillies & saute for a minute.
  • Add garlic saute for a minutes.
  • Now add yougurt mixture to it.
  • Stir continously till it boils.
  • Cook it in low heat for 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Add fried pakoras cook for 3-5 minutes.
  • Pakoras kadhi is ready garnish with fresh coriander & serve it.

  • Carrot Grated
    2 Table Spoon For Garnish
  • Yogurt
    2 Cups
  • Besan(Gram Flour, Chickpea Flour)
    1/2 Cup
  • Garlic Finely Chopped
    4-5 Cloves
  • Green Chillies Chopped
    2 Pieces
  • Dried Red chilli
    1 Piece
  • Curry Leaves
    6-7 Leaves
  • Mustard Seeds
    1/2 Tea Spoon
  • Fenugreek Seeds
    1/2 Tea Spoon
  • Cumin Seeds
    1/2 Tea Spoon
  • Asafoetida
    A Pinch
  • Coriander Powder
    1 Tea Spoon
  • Turmeric Powder
    1/4 Tea Spoon
  • Oil
    1 Table Spoon

Method:

  • Take a large bowl whisk the yogurt properly.
  • Add besan & whisk till smooth mixture now add 3 cups of water to it keep aside .
  • Heat the oil in a kadhai add fenugreek seeds, mustard seeds, cumin seeds saute for half a minute.
  • Now add garlic, green chillies, dried red chilli, curry leaves & asafoetida saute for a minutes.
  • Add carrot pieces & coriander powder,turmeric powder & salt.
  • Reduce the heat cover with lid for 5-6 minutes.
  • Cook till carrots get soften.
  • Now add yogurt mixture to it.
  • Stir continously yogurt mixture till it boils.
  • Cook it in low heat for 15- 20 minutes.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Serve & garnish with grated carrots.
