Ingredients:

  • Ghiya,Lauki (Bottle Gourd)
    500 Grams
  • Milk
    1 Litre
  • Ghee
    2 Table Spoon
  • Green Cardamom Powder
    1/2 Tea Spoon
  • Almond Chopped & roasted
    1 Table Spoon
  • Cashew Nuts roasted
    6-8
  • Sugar
    1/2 Cup

Method:

  • Take lauki peel cut into half to remove the seeds then wash & grate.
  • Now boil the grated lauki till soft then strain it & squeeze excess water.
  • Heat ghee in a kadhai add grated lauki to it cook for 10 to 15 minutes then keep aside.
  • In other pan boil milk now add cooked lauki to it.
  • Add sugar & cooked till it dissolve now add green cardamom powder & roasted nuts.
  • Remove from heat & serve hot or cold.

Ingredients:

  • Chana Dal (Split Bengal Dal)Cooked
    2 Cups
  • Seedless Dates Roughly Chopped
    10- 12
  • Sugar
    4 Table Spoon
  • Green Cardamon Powder
    1/2 Tea Spoon
  • Cloves
    3-4
  • Mixed Dry Fruits Chopped
    2 Table Spoon
  • Ghee
    3 Table Spoon

Method:

  • Take grinder jar add cooked chana dal grind it lightly.
  • Heat Ghee in a pan add cloves saute for while & add grind chana dal.
  • Saute till aroma comes & add chopped dates mix it well.
  • Now add sugar cook till it dissolved completely.
  • At the same time heat another pan add 1 tea spoon of ghee add chopped dry fruits saute for 1/2- 1 minutes.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Add this fried dry fruits to the halwa & sprinkle green cardamon powder to it, mix it.
  • Remove from heat, transfer it into serving dish garnishing with dry fruits.
  • Serve it.

  • Rice Soaked
    1/2 Cup
  • Milk
    1.5 Litre
  • Green Cardamom Powder
    1/2 Tea Spoon
  • Sugar
    3/4 Cup
  • Saffron (Kesar)
    A Pinch
  • Almonds Blanched Peeled & sliced
    5-6 Pieces
  • Pistachios Blanched Peeled & Sliced
    8-9 Pieces

Method:

  • Drain the soaked rice & grind it into coarse paste, add little cold milk to the rice coarse paste.
  • Now Bring milk to boil.
  • Add rice paste to the boiled milk.
  • Cook till rice is completely cooked stirring constantly.
  • Add cardamom powder & saffron mix it well.
  • Add sugar & cook till it dissolved completely.
  • Remove from heat & garnish with almonds & pistachios.
  • Before serving chill it in refrigerator for an hour.

  • Khoya (Mava)Unsweetened Crumbled
    1 Cup
  • Sugar
    1/2 Cup
  • Milk
    2 Table Spoon
  • Green Cardamom Powder
    1 Tea Spoon
  • Cocoa Powder
    2 Table Spoon
  • Cashew Nuts For Garnishing
    10- 12 Pieces

Method:

  • Take a pan add crumbled khoya & heat it for 1-2 minutes, stir it.
  • Add sugar & milk to it and stirring continuously.
  • When the sugar is completely dissolve than add green cardamom powder & mix it well.
  • Keep stirring continuously over the medium heat cook till the mixture get thicken or leaves the side of the pan.
  • Now add cocoa powder & mix it evenly.
  • Remove from the heat & keep aside for cooling the mixture.
  • When the mixture is enough warm to touch then knead a smooth dough.
  • Grease your hand with little ghee if it required.
  • Now divide the mixture into equal lemon sized small ball.
  • Then press it slightly in the center & put cashew nuts to it.

  • Carrots (Grated)
    10-12 Medium
  • Khoya (Mava)
    1 Cup
  • Milk
    2 Cup
  • Sugar
    1 Cup
  • Ghee
    4 Table Spoon
  • Raisins
    7-10 Pieces
  • Almonds
    7-8 Pieces
  • Cashew nuts
    8-9 Pieces
  • Green Cardamom Powder
    1 Tea Spoon

Method:

  • Heat 3 table spoon of ghee in a thick bottomed kadai.
  • Add grated carrots to it & saute for 5-8 minutes.
  • Add milk & cook it for 5-10 minutes at medium flame or cook till it gets thicken.
  • Now add sugar to it stirring continously till the sugar is melt properly.
  • At meanwhile heat remaining ghee in a pan & saute cashew nuts, almonds & raisins for 2-3 minutes, keep aside.
  • Now add khoya, fried dry fruits & green cardamom powder cook & stir it for 5-8 minutes.
  • Remove from heat & serve it hot or cool.

  • Green Cardamom (Elachi)

  • Raisins (Khismish)

    5-6 Pieces
  • Fennel Seeds (Sauf)
    1/4 Tea Spoon
  • Ghee
    3 Table Spoon
  • Water
    2 Cups
  • Grated Dry Coconuts
    1 Table Spoon

Method:

  • Sieve suji.
  • Heat ghee in a khadai.
  • Add suji to it roast till it color change to light brown.
  • Add crushed green cardamom, raisins, almonds, fennel seeds, cashew nuts.
  • Add sugar & water stir continuously reduce heat to low.
  • when water get absorbed that means our halwa is ready.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Take it to serving dish & garnished with grated coconut.
