Beetroot Raita With Onion & Cucumber

Ingredients:

  • Beetroot (Chukandar) Boiled, Peeled & Puree
    2 Small
  • Yogurt Whisked
    2 Cup
  • 1 Tea Spoon
    Cumin Powder
  • Green Chillies Finely Chopped
    1 Pieces
  • Onion Finely Chopped
    1 Small
  • Cucumber (Kheera) Grated
    1/2 Cup
  • Mint Leaves
    For Garnish
  • Salt
    To Taste

Method:

  • Take a beetroot boil & peeled it.
  • Now take a mixer jar add beetroot to it & grind it to make puree.
  • Take a bowl add yogurt & beetroot puree mix it well.
  • Now add chopped onion,green chilli & grated cucumber.
  • Add cumin powder,salt to it mix it gently.
  • Garnish with mint leaves.
  • Raita is ready to serve.

  • Cucumber (kheera)grated
    2 medium
  • Yogurt
    1.5 Cups
  • Cumin Powder
    1/2 tea spoon
  • Black Pepper Powder
    1/4 tea spoon
  • Fresh Coriander Leaves
    1 table spoon finely chopped
  • Black Salt
    1/2 tea spoon
  • Salt
    To Taste

Method:

  • Mix cucumber & salt leave for 5 minutes. Squeeze excess water from the cucumber.
  • Take yogurt in a bowl,whisk it well.
  • Put yogurt in the refrigerator to chilled.
  • Take out yogurt from refrigerator, add cumin powder, black pepper powder,salt, black salt coriander leaves.
  • Mix properly.
  • Raita is ready to serve.
