Baby Corn Finger Fries

  • Baby Corn
    10 Pieces
  • Rice Flour
    2 Table Spoon
  • Gram Flour(Besan)
    1/4 Cup
  • Asafoetida (Hing)
    2 Pinch
  • Carrom Seeds
    1/4 Tea Spoon (Optional)
  • Red Chilli Powder
    1/2 Tea Spoon
  • Sodium Bicarbonate (Soda)
    A Pinch
  • Oil
    For Deep Frying
  • Chat Masala
    1/2 Tea Spoon
  • Salt
    To Taste


  • Take a deep bowl add rice flour, besan, asafoetida, carrom seeds, red chilli powder, soda, cumin seeds & salt.
  • Add sufficient water to make batter like idli batter keep aside.
  • Now cut the each baby corn into four in length wise.
  • Heat oil in a deep kadai.
  • When oil is enough hot then dip the baby corn slices in the batter & put it in oil for frying.
  • Fry till color changes to golden, take it on absorbent paper & sprinkle chaat masala.
  • Enjoy it with chutney or tomato sauce.
